Let me get this straight. Global warming is causing these massive tornados. Do some research. From 1999 to 2007, there were 504 deaths from tornados an average of 54 deaths for those years. The most killed in the 1990s was in 1998 when 130 died. The worse ever was in 1917 when 551 died. In 1987, 537 died, was that from global warming? There is no present patern or trend of more harsh tornadoes, the opposite is true. Far more deaths in the first half of the 20th century, when global warming was \"just getting started\". There are about 1200 tornadoes a year. Most hit the farmland but when they hit the cities, more deaths occur. So are you saying global warming is now causing the tornedos to hit the cities instead of the farmland? Your cartoon is a lie, Mr. Toles. When we get another president in office, I hope he convenes a federal grand jury to take testimony on global warming. For instance, you will be called to testify and produce scientific data to support your conclusion that these tornadoes are being caused by global warming. What you do, Mr. Toles is yell fire in the theater and scare women and children.
